Every Saturday of the year, with the exception of New Years, the Foundation conducts "The 6th Day Saturday Program" from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The Foundation invites all developmentally disabled individuals in the greater San Francisco Bay Area to attend our weekly program which is held in the Walpert Center Auditorium at 1101 Walpert Street, Hayward, California 94541.The facility was once a grade school and has a large cafeteria and stage area which the program utilizes each Saturday. Generally 130 to 150 handicapped individuals attend our Saturday program.

They are transported to Walpert Center by their group homes, and are free to spend the majority of their Saturday at the Center to enjoy an assortment of entertainment and services such as dances, music, TV, movies, arts & crafts, pool table games, and card games. Many attend just to socialize with friends or to take part in more leisure activities. Light snacks and refreshments are provided to our clients and most of our clients bring their own bagged lunches to eat while participating in the day long activities.

At special Holiday times of the year the program holds outdoor BBQ's in the summer and during Christmas we provide a buffet style meal replete with all the holiday traditions and decorations.
